My CJ7 Finally Goes Back Together

The CJ7 rebuild is finally starting to turn the corner! In this episode of the rebuild series, I begin assembling the freshly restored front axle and finally get it installed under the newly painted Jeep frame. After countless hours of wire wheeling, painting, cleaning parts, and restoring old components, it feels good to finally start putting this Jeep back together. I kick things off with a quick montage showing some of the restoration work that went into the front axle and crossmembers, then do a walk around of the chassis to highlight the new Old Man Emu springs and boomerang shackles I installed off camera. From there, it’s time to assemble the front axle and get everything mounted under the frame for the first real glimpse of this CJ7 coming back to life. This build has been a ton of work, but seeing the chassis finally sitting on suspension again makes it all worth it.
