The violence in Manipur continued to cause havoc as a fresh round of crossfire erupted in the Churachandpur area on Sunday. The crossfiring between two groups in the area lasted for about 12 hours on Saturday. The firing was triggered again today at 9 am, and has been going on at intervals throughout the day. Numerous houses and buildings were set ablaze.
