【KOF XV】Voice Comparison (Japanese and English)

BENIMARU NikkoVA gave Benimaru that hint of Quinton Flynn while giving him a charming youthful voice that matched the seiyuu. MEITENKUN LeekWhibble was able replicate a very difficult voice to begin with! More impressive is how natural all her snoring was! ASH We wanted a slightly more smug interpretation that can transition into buttery WHILE being able to give Ash some French thrown in... a lot to ask but ActorsAllusion answered our prayers and delivered in every way! ELISABETH AlchemicWaking's English accent really allowed Elisabeth to stand apart from all the other mid-ranged stoic Fighters in the roster. KUKRI We were having a problem getting the right voice for Kukri until SargeRay threw in an audition for consideration and we were shocked! we didn't think he could pull off edgy-boy voices! KYO Crane employed his patented "Squall" voice and it fit Maeno's iconic Kyo voice like a glove! From the cockiness to the yells! CHIZURU Tiffany (DorkSensei) has this voice that borderlines sexy and pure and lo and behold! A perfect combination for ms Kagura! IORI We've seen many fancasts that had many great suggestions for an English dub Iori but one idea that we didn't see was Liam O'Brian! K' We wanted to give K' a much darker tone. So we got Nathan South to give him a little more rasp and a little more edge. MAXIMA we went for the gentle giant direction and had SargeRay do his thing! WHIP We elected to give Whip a more stern tone which Mercedes Lewis did perfectly! ISLA We wanted that sorta Latin mixed with some Hip Hop flair. And we were very lucky to have TygressLaryah bring some authenticity to Isla. HEIDERN We saw a fancast from head Canon voices suggesting Keith Silverstein and we were hooked! DOLORES We borrowed Echo-S's very own Sorceress Edea VA to bring this mystic to life. CrimsonShadowVA nailed it! ANDY We wanted Anime Handsome hero voice... so we picked up RyusukeVA from Writer's Block productions! JOE Ferren is known for many edgy characters like Vincent Valentine. So it was so satisfying to get him to rile as Joe unleashed! TERRY The moment we heard Crash Star VA's audition we KNEW he was a perfect match for Terry's seiyuu! RYO MamgoPunch gave him the right amount of "hero" and that fine tuned amount of youth we wanted for Ryo! ROBERT we got DolletVA to use his smooth voice for this smooth fighter! KING ShadowleafTV has been killing it in the VA game so we gave them a role fit for royalty! Also gave Kibg much more sex appeal in our honest opinion... YASHIRO So we wanted to give him a sorta Troy Baker kinda voice. SHERMIE NekovenomVA was just a shoe in for her. a great match for the seiyuu. CHRIS we know that he's voiced by a female in JP but we wanted to give him a young male voice instead. Good thing Laska answered our prayers! ATHENA We were having a difficult time with this one... until TailoredVoices appeared and did a voice we never expected out of her! now the Idol is alive! YURI Bee does many great voices but our favorite is when she does sassy youthful girls like Yuri! MAI This one we could NOT get wrong. a lot of fancasts suggested very mature sounding actresses like Christina Valenzuela but we gave this to Snowlette. Her voice is the goldilocks perfect blend for Mai. Seriously, just listen to how well she matches the seiyuu! RALF SargeRay being an absolute MAN in this role! CLARK Ferren giving Clark the ham he deserves! LEONA Nichole Goodnight, a twitch streamer, really got those role down. The stillness really matches the seiyuu. RAMON We wanted an accent and we got it! KING OF DINOSAURS OmegaOptimusSupreme in his comfort monster role! ANTONOV Harax really going in on the ham and accent! ANGEL Iris did a literal one-for-one voice match for Angel! complete with cat puns! KROHNEN JonFrost gave us that AKIRA vibes so duh, we had to do it... KULA Ohmiyamoto sounded sooo much like the seiyuu! uncanny! BLUE MARY Alchemic bringing Mary to life with her natural tone! LUONG Saexy brought the boys to the yard with this one. Check out her TikTok if you don't believe us. VANESSA CrimsonShadowVA. enough said. GATO Arkham really gave Gato that consistent deep voice Gato needed. ROCK So we put Rei through the fire having him do many interpretations but landing on a JYB inspired take on Rock. B JENET Arietta is a perfect match! listen! GEESE we know Richard Epcar played him in the past and we wanted to reprise that! BILLY Lash finally gave him a Britush accent he sooo needed. YAMAZAKI Dio Brando mixed with Joker. RUGAL Peter Cullen. so we HAD to call Aussieroth!
