The oldest bridge in Verona (it dates back to 100 BC!) also ended up being one of my favorite spots in the city, because it was just so beautiful everywhere we looked! Down the Adige River? Gorgeous view. The buildings lining the river, bursting with spring flowers? Gorgeous view. Looking back toward the Castel San Pietro in the hills above the bridge? Also a gorgeous view!
