Often, a thorough cleaning is sufficient to remove old rosin residue, dust, and other dirt. The stick itself and other parts of the bow should also be cleaned regularly. Here's a step-by-step guide: 1. Simply wiping the bow stick 2. Cleaning the winding, frog ring, and butt 3. Complete cleaning of the rehair: a) Wiping with paper towels and rubbing alcohol, then combing out the hairs b) "Washing" the rehair with rubbing alcohol (Caution: Never do this with wooden bows!) 4. Wiping the stick with rubbing alcohol Please note: Never wipe the stick of a wooden bow with rubbing alcohol! This step only applies to bows with carbon fiber sticks!
