Helen Sung Trio at Kalisz Jazz Festival: "Shall We Tango?"
Pianist & composer Helen Sung performs her original composition inspired by Spanish composer Isaac Albeniz's 'Tango' (fr "Espana", Op.165). Recorded on her album "Sungbird after Albeniz" on Sunnyside Records, she presented this selection at the 2009 Kalisz International Jazz Piano Festival in Kalisz, Poland. Accompanying her are Lonnie Plaxico (bass) & EJ Strickland (drums).
