Study of the work "Parnaso de Além-Túmulo" (Parnassus from Beyond the Grave). The first work psychographed by Francisco Candido Xavier; launched on July 9, 1932 by FEB (Brazilian Spiritist Federation). The first edition contained sixty poems, signed by nine Brazilian poets, four Portuguese poets, and one anonymous poet. From the second edition, published in 1935, new poems were gradually incorporated into the work until the 6th edition, published in 1955, when the number of poems was fixed at two hundred and fifty-nine, attributed to fifty-six Luso-Brazilian authors, both renowned and anonymous. A true landmark in the history of humanity, this magnificent collection of texts conceived by the inspiration of poets in the Spiritual Plane brings messages of consolation and hope on various themes, confirming the survival of the soul after earthly death. More than a masterful work, Parnaso de Além-Túmulo marks the beginning of Chico Xavier's extraordinary journey as a medium and instrument of Higher Spirituality, as well as one of the greatest and most respected disseminators of Spiritist Doctrine in the world.
