1997年9月下旬。廃止間近の信越本線　横川ー軽井沢「碓氷峠」最後の情景をSONYの３CCDカメラVX-1000で撮影。峠のシェルパEF63最後の雄姿をカメラに収める鉄道ファンたち。行き交う臨時列車の数々。奮闘する峠の釜飯「おぎのや」の従業員や機関区で入れ替え作業に従事する鉄道員の姿など、1997年晩夏の横軽の情景をまとめました。 Late September 1997.
