What a Mario World ROM Hack: Koopa Kickoff

Music: "Sweet Mario Love" by Kawashin    • Sweet Mario Love[SPC700]   Super Mario Bros. 4: What a Mario World is a reimagining of Super Mario World built under the same ROM. The goal isn’t to create a kaizo hack or anything overly challenging but to add our own personal flair across different aspects so it becomes a creative effort between multiple talents. Everyone working on this project is a fan of Mario in one way or another and we want to use our skills to make something unique for fans who grew up with the original game and newcomers alike. The story takes Star Road to the forefront. A mystical land capable of granting wishes from pure hearts is now in danger of the evil tyrant Bowser, who’s using corrupted wishes to create his own Anti Star Road. The Dino Archipelago now faces a threat beyond its control and needs help. New enemies, new bosses, new levels, new sprites, new music, new story, new everything. I’m Bryce Carrington, the project leader of this ROM hack. My goal is to take everything established in Mario World, Mario 3, Yoshi’s Island, and other Mario games old and new to give this hack life.
