Making a telescope

Hello to all who stumble upon this video and to those who are returning to my channel. Firstly may I say this video is not a how-to video. I've been making telescopes and musical instruments for many years. Friends who asked me to make them a custom instrument have asked me to document their builds with photos so I thought I would document the process. So this telescope build came about by a good friend Nathan liking the telescopes I make and wanting to get into astronomy. So he commissioned me to make him a ten-inch truss tube Dobsonian. Apologies that it's a long speedy video. It's about 60 hours work crammed into 40 minutes with set up and first light test at the end. So stick around if you can. My methods are probably not the best, quickest or safest ways of working to achieve making a telescope. But my telescopes perform well and I've had many fantastic nights stargazing and showing other people the wonders in the night sky. I have several other telescope related and build videos.
