ANTIQUES ROADSHOW visits BERWICK-UPON-TWEED: A Surprise Is Never Far Away! (Jan 1993)
ANTIQUES ROADSHOW is a long running British television series about the appraisal of antiques. In January 1993 the programme visited the market town of Berwick-Upon-Tweed, the Northernmost Town in England and just 2 miles South of the Scottish border. In this edition we see more amazing finds, including a Birdcage with a difference, a collection of Letters from Charles Darwin, a silver Punchbowl, a 1740 Walnut veneered Desk, an unseen Arthur Melville Painting and a Brooch of the famous Grace Darling.
