Le Pont transbordeur des Chantiers a été réalisé en 1917 par la société Daydé, afin de permettre à la voie ferrée de relier la gare de la Seyne au site des chantiers navals. Il a permis aux trains d'apporter les matériaux nécessaires à la construction de très nombreux navires commerciaux et militaires.
