3 is the third studio album by singer Joseph Williams, released in 1997. The album is not very well known, but it contains the very famous hit Goin' Home by Toto, in fact, the song was written by Joseph and David Paich in 1988, but the song was recorded in 1990 with Bobby Kimball on vocals, and included in Toto's 1997 album Toto XX. The version of the song recorded by Joseph is not very different from the original, in fact it is only moved a few keys lower than the original. In the album as guests, many of the members of Toto appear, including members and ex-members, including Steve Lukather, Mike Porcaro, Steve Porcaro, David Paich, Bobby Kimball, and Fergie Frederiksen. Other guests in the studio are Bill Champlin, Jay Graydon, Mark Williams, James Harrah, Joey Carbone, Tony Franklin, Jennifer Condos, Paul Gordon, Dennis Matkosky, and Sherwood Ball. The song Man in Me is a song that the artist had originally written in 1992 for the voice of Peter Cetera, this song appears in Cetera's album World Falling Down, in Williams' version the key and the bridge change. The last track is In My Life, a piece by The Beatles performed live by Joseph during a show on May 31, 1996 in Tokyo in a club called Desperado.
