Kawasaki Mule UTV electric conversion for Scrappin' Valley Lodge

Thanks to Scrappin' Valley Lodge ( http://www.scrappinvalley.com ) for commissioning me to build this one off electric UTV conversion. It was a great opportunity and a dreamy location to see. I will be coming back to visit! about this build: 2020 Kawasaki Mule 100+mi range, 50+ HP ( 40kW ), 44mph top speed ME1616 motor with Sevcon Gen4 Size 6 controller 31.7kWh 108v (nominal) battery, 28s2p 156Ah NMC cells 3.3 kW charger with J1772 charge port BASTENS.com ArdJiCANo J1772 circuit BASTENS.com LCD display QUCC BMS Many asked about the cost, lets see if I can puts some numbers together. I did record my hours which included design time, coding and fabrication which tallied to 360 hours ... add in + $1200 motor + $1300 controller + $3300 batteries + $500 charger + $300 DC/DC + $1000 misc (aprox cable, connectors, laser cut metal, etc) ... sums up to be about = $7600 + 360hrs Cheers!
