IC-703 Plus 40M SSB QRP
This video is a continuation of my series, QRP contacts. This contact will be the first of many to come using this ICOM IC-703 Plus. Here I am running the optional Icom battery pack which due to the reduced voltage, forces the radio to 5 watts output versus the 10 watts obtained from a 12 volt source. Please check back for a 3 part video where I "pit" the Yaesu FT-817ND to the ICOM IC-703+. You are welcome and encouraged to forward your comments, requests and suggestions as to the type(s) tests and or comparisons that you would like to see included in the 3 part serious. I hope continue to my QRP series as much as I enjoy operating QRP and showing you the results. 73 VE3UK Bob
