Valor Mortis Demo PL #02 FINAŁ | Drugie demo jest dużo lepsze?

The second and final episode of the Valor Mortis demo. This time, we're taken to a later section of the game, Chapter 7, which immediately reveals far more possibilities than in the first demo: more gadgets, more powers, a stronger character, and more engaging combat. The biggest plus of this section is the combat and parrying, which can be incredibly rewarding. The final boss of the demo is definitely more skill-based, so learning his moves and defeating him is a lot of fun. However, I still have mixed feelings about the proposed controls, especially the dash/bumper dodge, and the parkour sections. Ghostrunner inspiration is evident, but at times, movement still feels a bit clunky and imprecise, especially when you have to replay a long section from the beginning after falling. Despite these issues, the finale of the demo shows Valor Mortis' potential much better. The atmosphere, visuals, Napoleonic dark fantasy horror, and story arc are truly intriguing. After playing both demos, I feel like the game has a very strong concept, but it needs refinement in terms of performance, movement precision, and controls before release.
