Alaska wilderness and mountain flying
My friend Jason and I took "78 Zulu" (A 1963 Cessna 150B) up the Kahiltna glacier and flew by Mt. Foraker, Mt. Hunter, and close to Denali. We then came down the Ruth Glacier and flew to Talkeetna by way of the Susitna river. After stoping in Talkeetna, we flew to Hatcher's pass and then down to Birchwood. On our way home from Birchwood, we flew around Pioneer Peak and enjoyed the beautiful sunset from 7,000'. All together we flew 4.7 hours and got back around midnight. I feel so blessed to be able to experience God's spectacular creation in such a manner and am happy to share this with all of you!
