Paraset 1942 Replica Spy Radio receiving on the 80m Ham Band
First video of my Paraset spy set replica build...with thanks to my ham buddy Colin who gifted me the octal valves to get it going..its not a faithful copy, but used parts I had to hand...I have copied the layout although its a little bigger than the original. The receiver needs quite a lot of careful tweaking to get it working properly. The set up is all down to the one tuned circuit with taps for regen and antenna coupling. Transmitter to build next. Works a treat on receive on 70 feet of wire and my bench HV PSU. Search 'paraset' on google to learn more about the unit and the community of builders around the world
