Walking around the area myself, I could understand why people are drawn to this place. On this trip, I explored Kamakura starting with **Komachi-dori**, the city's representative street; the Great Buddha of Kamakura, a representative Japanese Buddhist statue; the beautiful Hasedera Temple; Shichirigahama Beach, known for its impressive ocean views; and the level crossing at Kamakura Kokomae Station, famous as the setting for the anime *Slam Dunk*. In particular, the sight of the Enoden train running right next to the beach created a special atmosphere unique to Kamakura.
