MARTY REISMAN - MARTY SUPREME

This footage was originally filmed in 2011 in my office in NYC for a TV pilot cast submission. Marty was a close friend, and we inspired each other right to the end. Table tennis legend Marty Reisman, 81 years young at the time of filming, had already lived several extraordinary lives from smuggling gold through Asia, to brushing shoulders with Marilyn Monroe, to winning more than 23 world titles along the way. While most people his age might be settling into retirement, Marty was just getting started. He still felt like a kid, hungry for competition and full of mischief. In this video, Marty throws down the gauntlet to any young pro athlete for a money match in table tennis.
