A Day In Zealandia
A compilation of footage from various trips at Zealandia Ecosanctuary in Wellington. Starting at the Pied Shags, this video follows roughly what kind of birdlife you could see when walking through Zealandia up to the Kaka feeders. Takahe are almost always spotted in their area and North Island Saddleback can often be seen or heard along the track. Kaka are usually seen at their different feeder locations and if you're lucky you might spot some Kakariki during your walk. This video also includes Pateke and Pateke chicks which were spotted alongside the river on the valley walk to the Kaka feeders. Most footage in this video is from 2021.
