God's Perfect Timing | The Providential Hand of God in America's History

Was the timing of America's founding merely a historical coincidence—or part of God's providential plan? In Session 2 of this series, we examine the earliest chapters of American history, beginning with Christopher Columbus and the exploration of the New World. We also explore why the timing of European colonization may have mattered more than most history books explain. This lesson examines the relationship between Columbus, the Protestant Reformation, religious liberty, and the biblical doctrine of God's providence. We'll also discuss the importance of studying history within its historical context rather than through modern assumptions.
