Came home after a long and busy day and sang this in one go. I just asked asked the Lord what He wanted to hear and this is what came out. It has cost me personally a lot to decide to serve the Lord. It has cost me relationships, friendships, opportunities and experiences. For others in part of the world, it has cost them their lives and their safety. This is a declarative song for a generation of people who will say: No matter what, Lord...I am for you. I dedicate myself to you. I will stand watch for you. I will not give my heart to any other. I will serve Jesus! "The eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him..." 2 Chronicles 16:9 “So you, too, must keep watch!
