The guinea pigs at the Berlin Zoo are getting a visit, as practical exercises are on the schedule for the zookeeper trainees today. Curator Dr. Tobias Rahde is not only responsible for the animals in his area, but also for the training of the zoo's apprentices. Today, they're off to the petting zoo. The guinea pigs' sexes are to be determined. It sounds harmless at first. But the little guinea pigs are nimbler than some trainees' hands, as anyone who has ever tried to catch a guinea pig knows... Starting today, the little Diana monkey Rhea at the Berlin Zoo will share her cage with her older sister Xena. Xena already lives in the cage next door; the sisters already know each other by sight and smell, but today they'll be romping together in a cage for the first time. Curator Dr. Andreas Pauly and the zookeepers Axel Oberländer and Nils Frankenfeld are watching eagerly to see if true sibling love is developing here. A few meters further on, things are looking tense at home. A group of Siberian ibexes lives on the Ibex Rock, and they clearly have an authority problem. Two young males are trying to challenge the lead ibex for dominance. Zookeeper Steffen Minge is called upon to help them. Also in this episode of "Panda, Gorilla & Co.": The bonobos and the male gorilla Ivo are receiving clicker training, and the trusting blackbuck Trixie's curiosity is rewarded.
