Adult-sized electric dirt bikes (21/18 wheels) for 2026! Game changers?︱Cross Training Enduro

2026 appears to be a big year for full-sized electric dirt bikes! New models like the Talaria Komodo, Bonnell 705, Electric Leopard, RFN Warrior, Jarv-E and the Dust Hightail look very promising. And of course we already have the tried and proven Stark Varg. We have ridden a few electric dirt motorbikes and so far we are impressed! The power, weight and range don't match their noisy cousins yet. But they are getting closer. Let's look at the currently available full-sized electric models with 18 inch and 21 inch front wheels and at least 20HP. Next? Upcoming models that look promising. Ridiculous amounts of power. But the range still isn't quite a match. A pile of fun to ride. See our review. The Arctic Leopard E·XE 880. Reviews are very positive so far although the suspension lets it down a bit. It's likely to bite into Stark's market share being a lot cheaper and lighter. One review says the Leopard is 5kg heavier than the claimed weight. The Sur Ron Storm Bee has been discontinued. And we aren't surprised. It was very heavy for an enduro motorbike and not very powerful either. If you are enduro riding get into our enduro training vids. Our dirt riding tips are great for developing your hard enduro skills. The Talaria Komodo promises to be very competitive at this price. Early reviews are positive except some riders are saying the suspension isn't well set up and/or the front end handling is a bit weird. And if the claimed weight is true it's lighter than all the two-stroke enduro models. Sweet! The RFN Warrior SX-E15 PLUS+. It wins the award for the longest name! It is a full-sized model but it has quite a short wheelbase which could suit the hard enduro riders. It's very light due to the smaller battery and motor. Early reviews are very positive although some riders found the suspension a bit mediocre and the ergonomics were strange with the high footpegs. Okay! Let's look at some promising upcoming models. The Bonnell 805 is an Australian model due in mid-2026. The designer intend to match the Stark Varg's quality and suspension but in a much lighter package. The Dust Hightail. It's made in the USA with quality suspension from Sirris. My guess? It will be as good as the Jarv-E but you aren't paying for Graham Jarvis' name. There are many other electric models available now or coming soon. Most of them have smaller wheels but often can be upgraded to an 18 inch rear and 21 inch front wheel. But we wanted to focus on the full-sized electric motorbikes in this video. Finally, let's look the possible breakthroughs in technology that could see electric models become a valid choice for enduro riders. This involves batteries that are cheaper, lighter and store more energy.
