Why Wario NEEDS More Games

WAH Oddly enough, I've got a weird soft spot for Wario and his games, specifically his platforming games on the Game Boy and Game Boy Advance. With Game & Wario under performing along with the Wii U, the future of Wario games is uncertain. Much like most of Nintendo's dormant IP, there's so many ideas they could pull from for a new Wario game. In this video I talk about Wario's character design, his introduction to the Game Boy with Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, it's follow ups on the Game Boy; Wario Land 2 and Wario Land 3, the magnum opus of the series in Wario Land 4 for the Game Boy Advance, and what is the perfect jumping off point for a new Wario game, Wario World on the Gamecube. Wario Land 4 is one of my favorite games, and seeing that Wario World, a pretty solid game in it's own right with some minor hiccups, takes a lot of it's inspirations from the GBA title, it's the perfect foundation for a new Wario game, and I cap off the video by discussing some ideas for a potential sequel.
