I Rescued 2 Unwanted Gerbils & Built Them Their First Proper Home ❤️🐹- Bucatstate Gerbil Setup

In this video, I introduce my two new rescue gerbils and build them a brand-new enclosure from scratch. These two were being rehomed after becoming unwanted children's pets. Sadly, this is something that happens all too often with small animals. Many are bought on impulse, kept in unsuitable cages, and then rehomed when the novelty wears off. I wanted to give these gerbils a second chance. Join me as I set up their new Bucatstate 2.0 enclosure, complete with deep bedding for burrowing, hides, enrichment, and everything they need to express their natural behaviours. Then it's time to introduce the two newest members of the family and watch them explore their new home for the very first time. While they'll be staying with me as foster gerbils until the right forever home comes along, I'm determined to make sure they experience proper, ethical care and all the things every gerbil deserves.
