The Great Tribulation is God's act of punishing and purifying Israel of its sins. Since Israel has not yet recognized the Messiah or accepted Jesus, they will live in the Great Tribulation. When Jesus appears, they will cry out to Jesus. Then they will be saved by their faith in the Messiah who died on the cross of Calvary to save us.
