This time, I hiked up the Toga River from JR Rokkomichi Station in Nada Ward, Kobe City, to Mount Maya and Somatani Pass. The severe cold wave of 2023 arrived at the end of January. Somatani Trail is a hiking trail where you can see ice waterfalls, a rare sight in the Omote Rokko area. I knew I couldn't miss this opportunity, so I took on the challenge.
