Renate Müller: Vier Versionen ihres Todes — und kein einziger Beweis

On October 9, 1937, the Berlin-Charlottenburg I registry office issued a death certificate. Number 681. Place of death: Hufeland Clinic, Augsburger Straße 68. It is one of the few documents in this case that cannot be challenged. Renate Müller was 31 years old and one of Germany's biggest film stars. Fourteen days before her death, she fell from a window. At least four versions of this fall exist. They contradict each other not only regarding the question of fault, but also regarding the location, the height, the date, and the person who first found her. This documentary does not attempt to choose one version. It asks why none of them can be proven.
