As a result, a 44-year-old man, M. Ali Said, was arrested after being found guilty of drug trafficking. Police confiscated 1.79 grams of methamphetamine, a methamphetamine smoking device, and Rp 162,000 in cash, suspected to be proceeds of drug sales. In addition to narcotics, police also found a fish shooting gambling machine at the location. The machine was immediately burned on the spot. In addition, several huts used for methamphetamine smoking were also burned. The Head of the Medan Police Narcotics Investigation Unit, AKBP Thommy Aruan, stated that the operation to raid a drug den (Grebek Sarang Narkoba/GSN) was carried out after receiving information from the community, particularly a housewife, who was concerned about illegal activity in their neighborhood.
