EURO NYMPHING a PA Limestone Creek
Had a great afternoon Euro Nymphing wild brown trout on an Eastern, PA limestone stream. It was a few days after the streams were flooded from Hurricane Ida. The fish were spread out and the make up of the stream had changed from the flood. A lot of sandy, washed out areas and debris throughout. The fish seemed to be stacked in certain areas. Most fish were caught on the bottom fly which was a size 16 olive krystal flash perdigon. The blowtorch in a size 14 accounted for a few more, as did a gasolina perdigon. I give some helpful tips as well. Enjoy! -Cory #euronymphing #browntrout #flyfishing
