Black Hawk Ground Run & Systems Check

Heavy D Sparks recently purchased a Sikorsky UH-60A Black Hawk helicopter and hired Thoroughbred Aviation to perform the aircraft inspections. Because of the time involved with the government auction, acquisition and final release of the aircraft, the Black Hawk had been sitting unused for 6 months. This was the initial runup and systems check after its storage. We installed the main and tail rotor blades as well as the stabilator. Then we accomplished ground runs and systems checks to ensure everything was operational prior to starting the Black Hawk tear-down and inspections.
