King Kevin is gone, long live King Kenny! Liverpool FC have broken the British football transfer record by signing forward Kenny Dalglish for £440,000 from Glasgow Celtic. Dalglish has been bought using the money Liverpool received from Hamburg for Kevin Keegan, and despite the record fee manager Bob Paisley thinks it represents a good deal for the club. Dalglish has met club captain Emlyn Hughes and his new teammates, who are preparing to face Liverpool's great rivals Manchester United in the Charity shield. This clip is from Grandstand.
