Why Young Israelis Need Discipleship After Military Service

What does it look like to invest in the next generation of believers in Israel? On the final hike of the Lech Lecha program, we visited Mount Tabor, where participants reflected on Scripture in the very land where many biblical events took place. For these young Israeli believers, this journey is about far more than hiking. It is a time to step away from the weight of military service, seek the Lord, and grow in their faith. Many participants come carrying grief, questions, and the realities of life after serving in the Israeli army. Through Bible study, discipleship, community, and prayer, they discover the love of God in a deeper way and are equipped to become disciples who make disciples. This transformation is possible because of faithful supporters who pray, give, and stand with local ministries in Israel.
