Straightforward, perhaps oldschool; that’s what the 4-boys-and-one-girl Band are proud of. In their long band history they never attempted to chase after any trends or felt the need to compete against other bands. Me And The Rest are playing the music, they feel in their hearts and pants; honest and powerful with a lot of sinful ideas and more so real feelings, at one time angry, even accusatory and another time tender and loving, but always with the index finger poking in an open wound. They don’t want to be moralists or advocates of any particular ideology – the just want to be regular people. The Album “7 Deadly Sins” proclaims the vulnerability, the selfishness, the love, the drive, the desires and the sins of our people, always with the reminder that it is in everyone’s own hands to change something. The 12 vigorous songs with all their facets were produced and recorded in the New Sound Studios in Switzerland. Behind the buttons was none other than Tommy Vetterli, who perfectly understood how to capture the energy and vibe of the band.
