Horror's Hallowed Grounds: Episode 1 — Halloween (1978). This is where it all started. Back when I was working on the Halloween 25 Years of Terror documentary for Anchor Bay Entertainment and Trancas International we were looking for bonus content for the DVD release. I pitched this idea to Malek Akkad. I had been doing HHG as a written on-line article with photographs on a website called The Horror Channel. I wanted to try it out as a TV show. He loved the idea and said to go for it but I had to deliver a finished product in two weeks! My friends and I rushed out and totally winged it! I was fortunate enough that my friend and Halloween star P.J. Soles was willing to join me for a segment. The rest is history.
