Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure to increase the size of breast. No, there is no age restriction for Breast Augmentation. After 18 years, Breast Augmentation can be done with silicone implant. After Breast Implant surgery, does it feel natural on touch? Silicone Breast Implants are matched with the softness of breast, so it cannot be feel differently after Breast Augmentation. How many days I have to stay in the hospital after Breast Augment surgery? Breast implant surgery is a day care procedure and patient usually stays 12-14 hour in the hospital. After surgery, if the patient is found fit and fine then, she is discharged in the same day evening with oral medications. How much time it takes this for recovery Augment Mamaplasty? Medicine has to be taken for 10 days. By next 10-12 days patient become fit to join regular duties like office, college. However we advice patients to avoid heavy works like running, weight lifting, gym etc. for 8 weeks. How much it will pain during Breast Augment? The surgery is done under general anesthesia, so patient does not feel any pain during Breast Augmentation surgery. Pain during recovery period is minimal and managed by oral tablets. What are the side effects of Breast Augment? Infection is an early complication obvious by 7-10 days. There are several known and unknown factors like: patient’s age, chronic disease like diabetes, smoking, and poor hygiene. Once infected, the implant has to be removed. Is these cut mark for Breast Augment under breast will be visible? These cut mark will remain life time, however, by next six months the cut mark fades, also as the cut mark remains below the lower breast crease they are less noticeable. What is Capsular Contracture after Breast Implant surgery? Silicone is an almost inert substance in respect to human tissue. However it causes formation of a capsule around the implant over a period of 8-12 years. This capsule may cause displacement of the implant this is called Capsular Contracture. Such condition is treated by surgically removing the capsule. Will the Silicone Breast Implant burst if I take air flight? It is also a myth that breast implant will burst in a flight. There is no problem to become pregnant or to breast feed your baby, as breast implant do not cause any change in fertility or hamper in milk production.
