Suzuki S-Presso - Amado u odiado, pero ícono al fin

For better or for worse, the Suzuki S-Presso doesn't go unnoticed. The "Ñuñuki," as it's been nicknamed, has garnered both fans and detractors since its launch, but its approach as an honest car within the entry-level segment, where the main motivation is simply to drive a brand-new vehicle, without much regard for performance or features, is undeniable. In the development of the Suzuki S-Presso, anything that could increase the price was simply eliminated. This is why we find features like rotary window switches on the rear doors, a two-point seatbelt, no headrest for the center rear seat, and a small 998cc engine capable of producing 66 horsepower and 89 Nm of torque. However, this engine is paired with a new feature for the 2024 version of this model: its AMT transmission. The AMT transmission is a hybrid between a manual and a traditional automatic gearbox. Essentially, it's a manual transmission, but one that automates the process of decelerating, engaging the clutch, shifting gears, and disengaging. It's like a robot is doing it for us! In that sense, the Suzuki S-Presso's AMT transmission becomes the ideal companion for those who, for example, are learning to drive. However, it's not just for inexperienced drivers, as the convenience of not having to shift gears, especially in urban driving and traffic jams, makes this type of gearbox a welcome feature. The Suzuki S-Presso is essentially an economical car, not only because of its price and its tried-and-tested K10C engine, but also because of its fuel efficiency. It achieves 17.5 km/l in the city and up to 23.5 km/l on the highway, allowing it to average a combined fuel consumption of 20.9 km/l. All the details of the Suzuki S-Presso are in this Racing5 Test Drive. #TestDrive #Suzuki #SuzukiSpresso
