Beau Hunting Starlings CAN Be Decoyed | I Cooked Them!!

I’ve always been told starlings won’t decoy — but this day proved otherwise. In just 2 hours, I shot 178 European starlings over a decoy spread. Starlings are an invasive species that compete with native birds for nesting sites and destroy habitat around farms and grain facilities. Removing them helps protect native wildlife and reduce damage. This hunt was also great dog training for Summer, watching birds work, fall, and keeping her steady in real-world conditions. I was shooting an old Remington 870 pump, parked next to my 1997 Power Stroke, on a snowy farm — and finally living out a long-time goal of mine: decoying these bad boys and watching them pile in. No gimmicks. No staged shots. Just proof that when conditions are right, starlings absolutely can be decoyed.
