9 Amazing Days in Tokyo Part: 2 | Tokyo Station, Ginza, Asakusa, Akihabara & Yokohama!
The Tokyo adventure continues! In Part 2, we dive even deeper into Japan's incredible food, shopping, anime culture, and unforgettable experiences before wrapping up an amazing trip. We kicked things off at Tokyo Station, exploring Character Street for exclusive Pokémon, Studio Ghibli, Sanrio, and anime merchandise before grabbing a delicious meal at the famous Ramen Street. Next, we headed to Ginza to experience Tokyo's luxury shopping district. We explored the massive flagship MUJI and UNIQLO stores, browsed fashion brands like Abercrombie & Fitch, and ended the day with one of the most memorable meals of the trip - an incredible omakase dinner. One of our favourite days was spent in Asakusa, where we rented traditional kimonos before wandering through the historic streets surrounding Senso-ji Temple. We explored the bustling Nakamise-dori shopping street, sampled local snacks, and finished with a comforting meal at Coco Ichibanya Curry House. Then came every anime fan's dream destination - Akihabara. We spent an entire day exploring countless anime, gaming, and retro stores, somehow spending way too much time (and money!) inside Yodobashi Akiba. We discovered our favourite ramen spot of the entire trip at Hakata Furyu, stocked up on more souvenirs at Don Quijote, and couldn't believe the endless shelves filled with anime collectibles and figures. Our adventure didn't stop there. We took a day trip to Yokohama to visit the fascinating Cup Noodles Museum before returning to Shinjuku to take on the famous Wanko Soba noodle challenge. After burning through plenty of yen in the nearby claw machine arcades, we called it an early night. On our final day in Japan, we made one last stop to try the Michelin-starred Tsuta Ramen before heading to the airport and flying home - already dreaming about our next trip back. If you're planning a trip to Tokyo or just love Japan travel, we hope this series helps inspire your next adventure! 🎥 Thanks for watching!
