The 2024 Gauteng provincial matric results were announced at Vodaworld in Midrand on Tuesday. Gauteng Basic Education MEC Matome Chiloane honed in on the performance of no-fee schools in these exams, saying they were responsible for the 3 percentage point increase in the province's overall pass rate.
