This video documents many of the highs along the way and showcases a lot of the progress we've made. There's still a long way to go, but we're steadily restoring this house back to it's former glory. Renovating an abandoned farmhouse in Italy doesn't come without it's difficulties, and having this video as a reminder of how far we've come in one-year is truly fantastic. Our Story: We sold our apartment in Stockholm, packed up the car and headed for Piemonte. After a couple of months searching for the right house we came across Our Italian Dream House and immediately made an offer. Four weeks later (just three days before Christmas) we signed the contract and had the keys. It's now early 2022 and we have begun work on the epic renovation that stands before us. We are mortgage free and have a very limited budget so plan to take on as much of the renovation ourselves as possible – follow us on our journey as we turn an abandoned Italian farmhouse into our dream home.
