3 KRL Dari Jepang Pensiun! Arigato KRL Tokyu 8500 JALITA, Tokyo Metro 7000 & JR 203 Di Jakarta Kota

On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, we attend a special event held by KAI Commuter & IRPS named "Arigato KRL", organised as farewell ceremony for 3 electric commuter train types: Tokyu 8500, Tokyo Metro 7000 & JR East 203, which will be retired due to old age and spare parts availability. All three trains participated in the event delivered from Depok rolling stock depot and occupied 3 tracks on the north side of Jakarta Kota station during the event, 2 of them (JR East 203 & Tokyo Metro 7000) returned to depot after the event ended, while the former Tokyu 8500 train left behind as a railway history museum for a week.
