Heat, Hazards, and Healthy Pregnancies: Protecting Pregnant Workers on the Job

(Español abajo) Heat is especially dangerous during pregnancy; pregnant people overheat and dehydrate faster than others. And working in extreme heat can make it more likely that the baby will be born too early or with other serious health problems. This bilingual (English/Spanish) virtual teach-in led by WorkLife Law and National COSH provides worker advocates and community health partners with the tools needed to use the law to support pregnant workers facing heat and other hazards on the job.
