In the Slow Slav (1.d4 d5 2.c4 c6 3.Nf3 Nf6 4.e3) White will often chase down Black's bishop pair (6.Nh4), though Black's setup will typically remain weakness-free. However, this doesn't mean Black can just sit back and wait. In this case, I strive to prepare queenside pawn counterplay with ...a7-a6, ...dxc4, ...Ra8-c8, ....b7-b5, and ...c6-c5.
