One of the most surprising natural landscapes in São Paulo. A 7km linear park on the banks of Billings. A redevelopment that greatly improves the quality of life in the capital's most populous district. It has reduced the number of the city's biggest graffiti artists. But the work has been dragging on for 13 years. Started during the Kassab administration, it was interrupted during the Haddad and Doria administrations, and only resumed during the Bruno Covas administration. Only a third of the park has been completed, and the maintenance of the first section is far from ideal. Even so, architects and urban planners Elisabete França and Marcos Boldarini show the natural, economic and tourist potential of a park that receives much less attention than those located in “privileged” areas.
