Ebru Inspired Painted Fern on Cold Process Soap
In this video we create another soap design inspired by the ancient art of Ebru paper marbling. A local arts guild hosts a painted fern festival, so we decided to design a soap in honor of that festival. We used a recipe made of coconut oil, olive oil, lard, and rice bran oil, and we scented with grapefruit and peppermint essential oils. This was the second time we had tried this technique, and we really like it. Hope you enjoy watching it! Just as we are inspired by watching what others create, we like to share our soaps, too. Please (especially if you are a new soaper) conduct your own research about the process. Always check your recipes in a lye calculator like soapcalc.net, and always follow all safety procedures. Thank you for watching Soap Lily Soaps!
