Xiegu G90 Field Day Test: Out of the Box to First Contacts

I tested the updated Xiegu G90 portable HF radio during Field Day to see how it performs straight out of the box for real ham radio contacts. In this video, I unbox the Xiegu G90 20-watt HF transceiver, set up the Radioddity HF-010 portable HF antenna on a tripod in tough rocky ground, and walk through the radio’s features for the first time: adjustable power output from 1 to 20 watts, SWR protection threshold, noise blanker, AGC, voice compression, bandwidth control, and mode switching across AM, FM, CW, USB, LSB, and digital modes.
