Although they have a lot of room to become more popular, we're already starting to see these beautiful Platycerium in more houses and apartments. Staghorn ferns (platycerium) thrive in partial shade and even full sun, depending on the species. So there's no reason not to have them on the walls of urban jungles in apartments, attached to trees, on a farm, in a house... Here we have some Platycerium inside bathrooms, with controlled humidity and light, but that's another story. In this video I show the step-by-step process of how to place a Platycerium seedling on a wooden plaque. The inspiration comes from a technique widely used in Asia, especially in Japan. The final result is beautiful and, being aesthetically very appealing, they can be hung like living paintings. I hope you enjoy it.
